Our client, a leading organization in the energy and infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated Engineer in Training (EIT) Transmission Integrity Management Program (TIMP) to join their dynamic team. As an Engineer in Training (EIT) Transmission Integrity Management Program (TIMP), you will be an integral part of the Transmission Integrity team supporting pipeline safety, integrity assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Engineer in Training (EIT) Transmission Integrity Management Program (TIMP)

Location: North York, ON

Pay Range: $29.52

What's the Job?

  • Conduct pipeline integrity assessments and analysis for transmission pipelines within the company's system.
  • Execute threat management programs, including corrosion, crack, and deformation threat evaluations.
  • Assess pipelines for retrofits prior to inline inspections and determine appropriate inspection technologies and techniques.
  • Analyze data from inline inspections, direct assessments, hydrotesting, and non-destructive examination results to determine necessary actions.
  • Support the development and implementation of threat management strategies to ensure pipeline safety and reliability.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience related to pipeline operations or oil and gas industries.
  • Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams and understanding of transmission pipeline systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Valid driver's abstract, as some role-related driving is required.
