Job description:

Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to our customers. Business-to-Business Delivery Drivers will deliver, load, and unload gasoline and diesel while providing exceptional customer service. The Driver will also be accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of gasoline and byproducts, as well as for conducting regular vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.

Key areas of responsibility:

• Transfer, collect, load, and deliver gasoline products to and from containers and vehicles (bulk trucks, tanks, and cars) for customers. Initiate and conduct the asset verification process.
• Conduct and maintain the highest standard of safety in all activities and operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and relevant regulations. This includes conducting and, if applicable, documenting pre- and post-vehicle inspections, site inspections, and visual tank inspections.
• Maintain equipment to the highest safety standards, reporting mechanical issues to the Operations Manager.
• Maintain delivery logbooks as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promoting the company and its related products and services positively while maintaining good customer relations and a positive company image.
• Maintain a professional company image while maintaining a clean and organized vehicle.
• Assist with general duties around the yard.
• Any other duties as required

Experience:

• Driving: 5 years (Class 5 or higher)
• At Least 25 years of age
• Capability of physical labour, including lifting items up to 25kg regularly.
• Must have basic computer literacy skills.
• Ability to qualify for a hazardous material transport certificate
• Petroleum experience is desirable

Licence Requirement: Class 5 OR Class 3
