Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) to support our client's warehouse operations in Nanaimo, BC . This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys hands-on work.
You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate handling, storage, and shipment of materials while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

  • Pay Rate: $ 24.00/hour
  • Location: Nanaimo, BC
  • Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
  • Job type: Temporary Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against documentation
  • Restock and organize inventory in designated storage areas
  • Label, tag, and stage materials for delivery or pickup
  • Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues
  • Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization
  • Support team members and other departments as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
  • Valid counterbalance forklift experience/certification is mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and documentation tracking
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing, lifting, and moving materials
  • Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
