Sanitation Worker

Adecco is currently hiring full-time Sanitation Workers to support our client's operations in Delta, BC. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment. • Pay Rate: $20/hour
• Location: Delta, BC
• Shift: 8-hour shifts Monday to Sunday 6:00 PM - 2:30 AM
• Job type: Temporary Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchens, warehouse areas, equipment, and surrounding facilities in accordance with HACCP standards
• Sweep, scrub floors, and empty garbage to ensure a sanitary environment
• Prepare and bale cardboard and plastic pallet wrap for recycling
• Follow and uphold all company health and safety policies
• Maintain MSDS catalogues as required
• Ensure workspaces are clean, safe, and compliant with company standards
• Perform other general duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• No previous experience required-training provided
• Previous warehouse or power jack experience is considered an asset
• Ability to work at a steady pace in a fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated with a strong team-oriented attitude
• Commitment to working safely and responsibly
• Comfortable working in a cool environment (1 C to 4 C) for extended periods
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
• Frequent walking, bending, squatting, and reaching below shoulder level
• Occasional reaching above shoulder level and twisting movements
• Regular use of floor sweepers and scrubbers
• Ability to work in cold conditions throughout the shift
• Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
