Enhance municipal communication as a Telecommunications Administrator. Oversee VoIP systems, CCTV surveillance, and access controls, ensuring efficient operations and strong security measures. This role supports the administration and maintenance of telecommunications and security systems across municipal facilities. Key responsibilities include managing cloud-based and on-premise systems, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing end-user support. Your expertise will facilitate the transition to modern communication platforms while maintaining reliability and efficiency across all systems. Key Responsibilities: • Administer VoIP and PBX systems, ensuring optimal performance • Configure call routing, voicemail, and conferencing systems • Troubleshoot connectivity and call quality issues proactively • Design and maintain IP-based video surveillance systems • Manage access control and maintain accurate logs Requirements: • 3-5 years of experience in systems administration • Strong knowledge of VoIP infrastructure and protocols • Familiarity with IP CCTV, particularly Avigilon • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills required • Class 5 Driver's Licence for British Columbia is mandatory Utilize your telecommunications expertise to optimize systems and enhance public safety through effective management and collaboration.
