Automotive Service Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, which could include oil change, tire rotation, battery installations, headlight and taillight installations, transmission work/flushes. Conducting necessary repairs and testing vehicles before handing them back to customers Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements Conducting diagnostic procedures to identify the cause of automotive issues Make effective and accurate recommendations Inform customers about completed work and recommend future repairs Consult with supervisor regarding tasks and progress Evaluate and process work orders Test and adjust units to specifications Document problems and work performed through reports Maintaining a clean and safe workplace Test automotive systems and components Education and experience Completion of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate would be required. 2-3 years of experience in the related industry would be an asset.
