Job Title: Systems Testing / QA Specialist

Location: Toronto, ON Onsite

Pay Rate: CAD$60 - CAD$65/Hr

Overview:

Seeking an experienced QA Specialist to lead testing activities for large and small system implementations. The role involves planning, organizing, and executing functional, non-functional, and integration tests, along with supporting UAT and preparing key QA documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop testing strategies, test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
• Execute system integration, functional, performance, load, and UAT testing.
• Work with project and technical teams across analysis, design, development, and implementation phases.
• Use testing tools, version control systems, and data/query tools to support QA activities.
• Document defects, testing results, and ensure alignment with SDLC and QA standards.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years as a Software QA Tester.
• Experience testing COTS applications.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking tools (Jira or Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and time-management skills.

Assets:

• Experience with Oracle Siebel CRM, Siebel Test Automation, Adobe AEM.
• Experience with automation tools (GUI/API), SQL, and data models.
• Familiarity with Java/Javascript, QMetry, and accessibility standards.
• Background in public sector systems or case management.
