This position requires autonomy, adaptability and a strong desire for innovation and problem-solving skills.Primary Duties and Responsibilities Intern will provide support: o Measurements o Data analysis using Matlab o Review documentation o Research literature on leading edge topics o Write brief reports The Must Haves Currently enrolled in electrical/physic engineering degree or physic degree Knowledge of Matlab is a plus Basic knowledge of optic theory and integrated optics Basic knowledge of radio-frequency principles Excellent teamwork and communication skills Excellent mastery of French and/or English both written and oral Job Location Québec, Québec, Canada Position Type Intern for Winter 2026 Pay Range: The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
