Avanciers is hiring Azure Data Engineer at Toronto, ON for one of our Fortune 500 clients. This is a Full-Time Permanent role with the client. Benefits will be covered by the Client.
Azure Data Engineer in Toronto, ON- Onsite- FTE
Key Responsibilities:
Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks (Spark/PySpark/Scala), and SQL.
Hands-on data ingestion from on-prem sources (mainframe, SQL Server, Oracle) and familiarity with Hadoop/Sqoop.
Skilled in Python/Scala/Java programming, Git/Jenkins, and orchestration tools like Autosys/Oozie.
Experience working with metadata files (Excel) and handling file transfers via mailbox.
Nice-to-have: mainframe file processing and Agile/JIRA/Confluence exposure.
