Review project specifications to estimate the material requirements. Using fillers such as putty and plaster to repair cracks. Removing old paint and applying fabric or wallpaper to walls. Prepare walls for painting by scraping, sanding, or washing with high-pressure tools. Apply coatings like paint, enamel, varnish, or fire-retardant treatments using paintbrushes, rollers or sprayers. Removing old wallpaper & peeling paint, smoothing the surface with sandpaper and applying a protective sealer. Setting up scaffolding and using ladders safely to perform tasks above ground level. Cleans up worksite debris. Provide Recommendations and cost estimates to prospective customers. Job Requirements: Completion of Secondary School is required. Experience in the same field is an asset.
