Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, and backhoes. This role is crucial for the successful completion of construction projects, requiring a strong understanding of equipment operation and safety protocols. The Excavator Operator will work on-site, collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

Duties
Operate excavators and other heavy machinery to perform tasks such as digging, grading, and moving materials.
Conduct loader operation for loading and unloading materials as needed.
Utilize bulldozers for land clearing and site preparation.
Perform backhoe operations for trenching and excavation tasks.
Execute horizontal drilling for utility installations or other project requirements.
Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections and basic mechanical repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand project specifications and timelines.
Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery on-site.
Small labor tasks.

Requirements
3-5 year of Proven experience in excavator operation or similar heavy machinery roles.
Familiarity with loader operation, bulldozing, backhoe operation, grader operation, and horizontal drilling techniques is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Valid commercial driving license is a plus.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments typical of construction sites.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
