We are seeking a passionate, results-driven Kitchen Manager/Head Chef who is positive culinary leader and outgoing individual with a charismatic, yet approachable personality. As a Kitchen Manager/Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and safety, and leading a team of culinary professionals in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

Plan and create innovative menu items that reflect current food trends while maintaining quality standards.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations & ensure kitchen cleanliness at all times.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability.
Hold your team to the highest level of food quality execution and support the ongoing development of culinary skills within your team
Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to enhance their skills and maintain high-quality customer experience
Ensure the use of fresh, top-quality ingredients while continually balancing the cost of day-to-day operations
Monitor & evaluate performance of kitchen staff, provide feedback & support as needed.
Implement new recipes & techniques to improve efficiency & quality in food preparation.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of Chef, Sous Chef or leadership experience in a full service restaurant
Established leadership skills - people development, ability to motivate everyone around
Knowledge of provincial liquor regulations and food safety compliance.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be open to attending a 2-week paid in-person training session in Calgary.
Passion for the highest level of food quality
Energetic, upbeat, and ambitious
Fluent communication skills
Must be legally allowed to work in Canada

Preferred Skills:

2 years of Experience in Cooking _(required)_
Minimum of Food Safe Level 1+2 _(required)_
Degree in Culinary Arts _(preferred)_
