Be computer literate and able to learn quickly
Be detail oriented and able to prioritize
Be a good listener and be good at multitasking
Efficient on the phones
Fluent in English (written & verbal)
Fluent in French (written & verbal)
Be a team player that is energetic, honest and has a good sense of humour
Able to work under pressure
Negotiation skills is a definite plus
Full on-boarding with complete training will be provided

Daily tasks as an Associate Logistics Specialist (in no order):

Quoting / Pricing (Calling our pool of carriers and obtaining rates for our customers)
Managing our current accounts
Contacting existing accounts for freight / business
Booking freight with our sub-contractors

Required skills & experience:

Customer service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines under stress
Ability to multitask efficiently

Compensation:

Guaranteed base salary (based on experience) + bonuses

Our office is in the industrial area of Saint Laurent / Dorval (H9P 1K3).
