The successful candidate will have a hand in many aspects of the entry process, such as creating IID shipments, following up with clients for missing information or other issues, reviewing CADs for accuracy, COD clients, entry revision and billing. Commensurate with experience, they will also be involved with the LCL and FCL ocean import process under the direction of their department manager.

Main Duties will Include:
Reviewing CADs/files for accuracy/errors
Creating and reviewing IID entries
Following all company SOPS and escalating issues to the manager when needed
Helping to maintain the products, CUSMA, and Permit databases
Electronically file items in our master database
Assisting clients and drivers with general requests
Monitor and follow up on entries as required
Prepare IID entries for all types of commodities via all modes of transport
Invoicing clients including COD
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills
1-2 years of customs brokerage experience or graduate from a min. 2 year Canadian College Customs Program
Demonstrated strong computer and software skills & knowledge (especially Outlook, Excel, and Adobe PDF)
College or University degree or diploma is an asset
CCS and/or post-secondary education in the customs field is an asset
Strong Keyboard and typing skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong problem-solving ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to prioritize work & time management skills
Ability to perform daily job functions in a mature and professional manner
