Overview: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Broker Relations Associate. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers or individuals with some sales or cold calling background who are eager to learn and grow within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities: On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to:
Prospect and Schedule Appointments: Reach out to the existing list of mortgage brokers to set up appointments and meetings for the Business Development Managers.
Monitor Deals and Follow-ups: Ensure deals are submitted via our submission platforms, and maintain a follow-up schedule.
CRM Management: Update CRM with broker details and notes, ensuring an exceptional experience for brokers at every point of contact with Lendfinity.
Documentation: Write up deals and follow documentation requests throughout the process to capture all required information for a seamless approval process.
Engage with the Underwriting Team: Proactively work with the underwriting team to ensure timely deal approvals.
Broker Communication: Gather approval and compliance documentation from brokers and follow up to ensure lawyer requirements are completed and files are funded on time.
Industry Knowledge: Stay current with Real Estate and Mortgage industry trends.
Event Representation: Represent Lendfinity at events, seminars, and meetings.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and experience in the Canadian Mortgage/Real Estate industry.
Sales and Customer Service Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales and customer service, preferably in the financial services industry.
Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent is preferred.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proven problem-solving skills with the agility to anticipate and handle any task assigned.
Prioritization: A skilled prioritizer who understands and prioritizes workflow while taking the initiative to begin, track, and complete tasks and/or projects.
Communication Skills : Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Technology Proficiency: Proficient with technology, including working efficiently and effectively within a Mac-based environment using multiple software platforms such as
Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Google Slides, and Google Docs.
Flexibility: Someone who gets the job done and is flexible to work outside of core business hours when needed.
Working Conditions and Benefits:
Starting Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000 (Increment with performance)
