Fission Uranium Corp ., now a subsidiary of Paladin Energy Ltd , is advancing the high-grade, near-surface Triple R uranium deposit within the award-winning PLS Project. Located in the renowned Athabasca Basin of northern Saskatchewan, the PLS Project boasts the longest mineralized trend in the district, with Triple R being the only major high-grade deposit at shallow depth. A Feasibility Study indicates that Triple R could become one of the lowest operating cost uranium mines globally.

_ Position Summary _

The Communications Coordinator is responsible for crafting and delivering clear, engaging, and accessible communications that support the organization's public outreach, community engagement, and brand consistency. This role involves producing a wide range of content-from newsletters to technical reports and visual materials-ensuring all communications align with corporate standards and effectively reach diverse audiences, including local communities, Indigenous groups, and government stakeholders.

In addition to content development, the Communications and Engagement Coordinator collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to support community engagement initiatives, manage visual assets, and coordinate the production of multimedia materials. The role also involves maintaining brand guidelines, template and report development, supporting rapid response communications, and contributing to the planning and execution of public events and outreach activities. The successful candidate will write, edit, and proofread content for various reports and platforms, ensuring alignment with Paladin's tone, style, and accessibility standards.

_ Position Duties _

Support the creation of public-facing technical reports by working closely with subject matter experts to translate complex information into plain language.
Create and maintain templates and visual assets for internal and external use, ensuring consistency with Paladin's brand guidelines.
Design or coordinate the production of graphics, infographics, and layout for reports, presentations, and engagement materials.
Manage and brief external vendors (e.g., photographers, videographers) to produce high-quality visual content.
Coordinate communication initiatives with target audiences to ensure compliance with Paladin's information sharing commitments/protocols and maintain required records detailing information sharing efforts.
Support planning and content development and represent Paladin Canada at local events such as trade shows, conferences, and community meetings. Occasional travel to and work in remote areas of Northern Saskatchewan is required.
Develop and maintain protocols and templates for rapid response communication.
Support rapid response communication needs including development of messaging in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
Collaborate with technical and corporate teams to ensure all communication reflects Paladin's brand and values.

_ Qualifications/Expertise _

Degree or diploma in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a communications or content development role.
Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong grasp of plain language principles.
Strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) considered an asset.
Experience with rapid response communications is a strong asset.
Experience in the mining or related industries is considered an asset.
