Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical and personal skills, making it essential for candidates to be well-versed in dental assisting practices and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Aid in maintaining accurate patient records using dental software ABELDent.
Follow IPAC protocols to reprocesses dental instruments.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with dental software systems (ABELDent) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Strong understanding of dental assisting practices and protocols.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is mandatory.

Hours

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 7:30 am to 4:30 pm; Fridays 7:30 am to 3:00 pm; Saturdays: 6:30 am to 2:00 pm.
