Richmond Packaging is a premium manufacturer of consumable packaging with high graphic designs. We are a national company with large clients in many different industries in California, Oregon, Washington and Western Canada. Richmond Packaging was established in 1982 and we have been enjoying a steady and aggressive growth over last several years.

_ Responsibilities: _

Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes growth and positive customer ratings
Maintain positive professional relationships with clients
Monitor sales progress to ensure that corporate goals are being met
Train sales professionals and help improve their skills
Oversee outside sales department - 25% of time
Prospect new business via phone and/or travel - 75% of time
Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions
Promote the company's products or services to prospective clients
Provide continuous, constructive feedback to outside salespeople
Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company's products or services
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.

_ Knowledge and Skills: _

Is considered skilled in flexible packaging products, solutions, and service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to acquire a scalable size of new business.

Uses expertise specialty and business development skills to align the client's business needs with a solution.

Develop knowledge of new business leads, organizational structure, business processes, and financial structure.

Demonstrates leadership and initiative in successfully self manage the new lead list and develop its process from cold-calling-to-client acquisition.

Excellent project management skills.

Maintain knowledge of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
