Reist Krauss Bauer LLP is a boutique employment law firm situated in downtown Kitchener servicing southern Ontario. Our sole focus is on providing legal and litigation services to employees and small to midsize employers. Our dynamic team is looking for an experienced Paralegal to further support the business as we work to deliver exceptional services to our clients and achieve our goals.

This position will be focused on developing your paralegal skills while assisting assigned lawyers to run their practices.

The Perfect Fit Has:
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal with a focus on employment law and/or litigation
Interest and/or experience in employment law and civil litigation
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Ontario civil court rules and procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Case Center (CaseLines), Adobe Acrobat pro and practice management software
Proficiency in LEAP software is an asset
Aptitude for learning and operating new software platforms and systems
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
An empathetic and compassionate nature
A demonstrated record of being self-motivated and innovative
A reputation of being professional, polite and courteous
The ability to work independently and as part of team
A good sense of humour and willingness to share knowledge and treats
