With a modern fleet of over 25 charter vehicles, we are growing rapidly and expanding our Charter Division. We are now hiring a Bus Charter Manager (Charter Sales) to lead our charter sales operations and client service execution.
Job Summary
We're looking for a dynamic, experienced Bus Charter Manager to help us grow our charter business by:
Responding to inbound charter leads
Developing new client relationships
Quoting and securing charter bookings
Coordinating successful trip execution
Ensuring clients return again and again
This is a key customer-facing role that blends sales, operations, logistics, and relationship management. You'll be the face of the company for many of our charter clients, from schools and sports teams to corporate and tour groups.
What You'll Do
Handle charter sales: Respond to incoming requests, provide quotes, convert leads into bookings, and track all activities.
Find new clients: Proactively identify and contact new charter opportunities (schools, tourism agencies, corporate groups, etc.).
Plan and coordinate trips: Liaise with operations, dispatch, and drivers to ensure charters run smoothly, safely, and on time.
Manage client relationships: Communicate clearly, follow up post-trip, and build long-term loyalty with every customer.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Be the go-to for solving problems before, during, or after a charter.
Maintain records: Use internal tools and CRM to log quotes, bookings, client details, and performance metrics.
Support marketing: Contribute ideas for promotions or seasonal specials to attract more bookings.
What We're Looking For
Experience in the bus charter industry is REQUIRED
Track record of success in charter sales, client services, or operational planning
Solid understanding of vehicle routing, group logistics, and customer expectations
Familiarity with Manitoba & Northern Ontario geography and seasonal travel patterns
Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven
Able to work independently and with cross-functional teams (sales, dispatch, drivers)
Must be comfortable with both office and mobile technology
Valid driver's license and clean record (travel may be required)
Tools You'll Use
DriveWise (or similar safety/operations platforms)
Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
Internal CRM, charter quoting tools, and dispatch systems (training provided)
Email, mobile apps, desktop platforms
Basic mapping and GPS software (for quoting or planning)
Bonus if You Have:
Experience planning charters for schools, First Nations communities, or corporate events
Familiarity with digital marketing or charter promotions
