JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our caregivers is expected to assist in all aspects of daily living which includes and is not limited to:

provide supervision and care
provide personal care such as personal hygiene and dressing
facilitate in transferring the client
help with exercise and chores
aid with administering medications
accompany to medical appointments
assess the overall well-being of the client
cook nutritious meals for the individual
and more, depending on the needs of the client

We require our caregivers to provide supervision and care to an elderly individual within their home for a period of 2 hours or more. While this position expects you to work individually, it also requires you to work as a team with your coworker in order to ensure that you are both up to date on the client's condition.

Valid Criminal record check (Vulnerable Sector)
Valid Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification

TB Screening (must be willing to obtain if you do not have one)
Demonstrates empathy, patience, and tact

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Education: RCA / HCA Certification or equivalent work experience or schooling
Work Experience: Minimum 1-year fieldwork
Experience and comfortable with personal care
Preference will be given to a candidate that is available to work for a period of 3-5 days consecutively at a time
