Home Health Care Aide Position at Beyond Neighbours

Position: Home Health Care Aide Availability: Weekends, Day and Night Shifts Required

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality, professional care to clients in accordance with their individual needs.
Demonstrate critical thinking, initiative, and problem-solving skills in delivering care.
Contribute to, collaborate on, and implement Wellness Plans to enhance clients' overall well-being.
Assist clients with dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and grooming.
Aid in meal preparation, ensuring clients receive proper nutrition and dietary requirements are met.
Provide medication assistance, ensuring proper administration and adherence to prescribed schedules.
Observe and document changes in clients' condition, reporting any concerns to the appropriate team members.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Offer companionship and specialized dementia care, promoting social engagement and mental stimulation.
Assist clients with mobility and exercise programs as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of clients' progress and care.

Requirements:

Valid certification or license as a Home Health Aide.
Prior experience in providing home care services, preferably with seniors or individuals with special needs.

Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on clients' lives.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to think critically, take initiative, and solve problems independently.
Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes as needed.
Proficiency in recording and documenting client information accurately.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
