SAP Maintenance Planner- We have an open position at the Lethbridge Commercial Processing Facility

1 year contract

Pay rate: $27.98/hr

This position is directly accountable to the maintenance Manger of the Lethbridge Canola Seed Processing Facility for the planning of preventive maintenance and repairs of machinery/equipment in Seed Cleaning, Seed Treating & Packaging, Bulk Seed Shipping & Receiving and Warehouse.

Incumbent will utilize SAP work order/costing / stores to effectively plan all maintenance activities at the Lethbridge Canola Seed Processing Facility for Maintenance staff as well as contractors. This will also include keeping track of stores (Parts on Hand) and reordering if necessary to keep stock level maintained.

This role will also maintain SAP master data to ensure all information and historical data is accurate and up to date.

Assist the Maintenance manager in KPI success by keeping downtime to a minimum, by planning work orders within the established timelines and keep parts inventory audit ready.

Assist in the implementation of a safe, secure, cost effective, quality maintenance program thought effective planning and cost estimation to achieve Budget requirements.

Knowledge and Experience - What specific skills, training or experience are required to perform the job? Requirements should be minimum needed to perform the job.

_Education_

University degree or Journeyman parts technician

Software knowledge - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint,

SAP workorders/costing/stores

_Experience_

_3-5 years as a planner in a maintenance department or contracting company providing plant maintenance. _

_Knowledge/Skill_

Good time management skills and a background in scheduling worker's time
Computer literate in Word, Excel, Power point, Project
demonstrated flexibility in learning and detailed oriented.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to maintain good relationships with

Production department in Cleaning, yard, packaging, and warehouse. Being able to provide clear, concise instructions for team effectiveness and productivity of maintenance staff and Contractors.

Ability to manage ordering and timelines of parts for planned jobs.
Hight level of knowledge on SAP Work order/Costing/Stores
Good work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable and punctual
Able to follow set standards and procedures.
Good mechanical and electrical understanding of parts

OTHER INFORMATION:

Availability to work 40 hours/week.
Requires a valid class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle for transportation, as our site is not accessible by Lethbridge Transit.
