Job Description
As a Manufacturing Technician in our prefabrication division, you will be responsible for assembling wall panels and floor systems at our lumber yard using engineered plans and hand/power tools. You'll work in a team-oriented environment, contributing to the efficient, safe, and accurate production of building components. Strong attendance and reliability are essential in this role, as our team depends on every member to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans.
Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and sheathing for prefabricated wall and floor sections.
Operate saws, nail guns, and other tools safely and effectively.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
Assist in loading finished components for delivery or job site transport.
Qualifications
Experience in carpentry, framing, or construction preferred.
Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.
Familiarity with hand tools and basic shop equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.
Dependable, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
