Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team in Leduc. The ideal candidate will have a background in motorsports or the automotive industry, with at least 1 year of experience (2 years preferred) as a Parts Advisor or Service Advisor. You will play a crucial role in helping customers find the parts they need, providing expert advice, and ensuring our inventory is well-managed and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles.
Provide expert advice on motorsport and marine parts, ensuring customers receive the best products for their needs.
Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels to ensure availability of popular items.
Process orders efficiently and accurately, including special orders and backorders.
Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely and accurate parts availability for repairs and maintenance.
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide the best possible service to customers.
Follow up with customers on the status of their machines in service.
Write and manage work orders for service
Deliver exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a Parts Advisor or Service Advisor role, preferably within the motorsports or automotive industry (2 years preferred).
Strong knowledge of motorsport and marine parts, including their applications and specifications.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
