Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced In-Field Sales Trainer to coach, develop, and mentor our field sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in door-to-door sales and a passion for teaching others how to succeed in a high-performance, face-to-face selling environment. This role is essential in driving sales performance, improving closing rates, and maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer engagement in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Training & Coaching:
Deliver engaging and hands-on training to new and existing sales representatives on door-to-door sales techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies.
Field Support:
Work alongside sales reps in the field to observe performance, provide real-time feedback, and model best practices in customer interactions.
Onboarding:
Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they understand product knowledge, territory management, and company protocols.
Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze individual and team performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and customize training accordingly.
Sales Process Optimization:
Continually refine and improve the field sales training program based on results, feedback, and evolving market conditions.
Motivation & Culture:
Act as a leader and motivator, cultivating a positive and productive team culture that values continuous learning and resilience.
Reporting:
Provide regular feedback to sales leadership on training effectiveness, team progress, and any field-related challenges or opportunities.
Qualifications:
Proven success in outbound door-to-door sales (2-4 years minimum)
Prior experience in a training, mentorship, or leadership role preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire, coach, and lead by example
Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented
Willingness to travel within assigned territories
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Able to pass a criminal background check . (company paid)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Direct Sales, Telecom Sales, In-field Sales
Familiarity with CRM and sales tracking software
