We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice at Mabelle Dental. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our dental team and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care in a comfortable and safe environment. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring the patient's comfort and safety.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with practice protocols and regulations.
Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of treatments.
Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care.
Ensure the dental office maintains a clean, organized, and sanitary environment.
Provide support with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls.
Qualifications:
Certification: Must be a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Ontario, with current certification in CPR/First Aid.
Dental Assistant Degree/Diploma is required
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant is required.
HARP is required
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of dental software and office procedures.
Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements:
Availability: Must be available to work from 11am to 8pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), and from 8am to 5pm on Sundays.
Ability to assist with a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and preventative care.
Knowledge of infection control standards and safety regulations.
Proof of work authorization
