Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millworker foreman/woman to join our team, responsible for directing and working with our team to craft high-quality custom cabinets and millwork. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and a strong attention to detail ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality. This position requires proficiency in reading blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics.

Responsibilities
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of 2-4 workers.
Construct and assemble cabinets and millwork according to specifications.
Read, interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
Saw panels to required sizes.
Set up and operate woodworking machines.
Assemble wooden fixture parts to form subassemblies and complete articles
Operate gluing machines to glue pieces or wood together or press and affix wood veneer and laminate to surfaces.
Fabricate parts for furniture, fixtures and other products.
Setting up and operating automatic edgebanding machine.
Install hardware on furniture and fixtures
Assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles
Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery, equipment, and shop tools.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in a foreperson/supervisory role.
Minimum 5 years experience in millwork manufacturing and cabinet maker/assembly or in a similar role within the woodworking industry.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to supervise others effectively while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Ability to handle up to 25 kg(50 lbs)
WHMIS, 5-step Health & Safety, and First Aid
Valid Driver's Licence
