Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Locksmith to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of locks and security systems. This role requires a strong understanding of locksmithing techniques and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The Locksmith will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the safety and security of our clients' properties.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain locks, keys, and security systems for residential, commercial, and automotive clients.
Respond promptly to emergency lockout situations, providing timely assistance to customers.
Assess security needs and recommend appropriate locking mechanisms or security solutions.
Cut keys and rekey locks as needed, ensuring precision and accuracy.
Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for locksmithing tasks.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and concerns.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in locksmithing.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a locksmith or in a related field is preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
A valid driver's license is preferred for travel to job sites.
Certification or training in locksmithing is a plus but not required.

Pay: $18.27-$35.00 per hour
