We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join Windsor and Essex County's NEWEST Appliance Repair team!

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in appliance repair, mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Home visits, and in-store repairs are expected

Knowledge/Experiance with Maytag, Whirlpool. Kitchenaid, Frigidaire, and Electrolux a bonus!

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using electrical schematics and mechanical knowledge.
Perform repairs on a wide range of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems.
Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repairs or maintenance.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their appliance issues and repair processes.
Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used during service calls.
Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality.

Skills

Proficient in electrical systems and able to read schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their components.
Experience in appliance repair with a focus on residential units.
Excellent mechanical knowledge to handle various repair tasks efficiently.
Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and address their concerns effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42 per week
