Responsibilities

Conduct Driver Evaluations
Enforce, perform, assist in and coordinate Safety Training, relating to driver and compliance training such as Load Securement, Trip Inspections, ELD, log books.
Ensure compliance with all regulations and record keeping concerning all transportation matters such as National Safety Code, Carrier Profile, etc.
Enforce policies and standards, and ensure compliance with transport regulations
Monitor, Counsel, and Document driver violations of any provincial, federal, or local laws or company policies or regulations
Conduct investigations to determine causes of transportation accidents
Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints
Ensure Driver/Vehicle files are up-to date and properly maintained

Qualifications

Familiar with Transportation Legislation
Familiar with Health & Safety Procedures
Class 1 License is an asset
