Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure all ingredients are properly measured and prepared
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food service
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management when items need to be restocked
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a line cook/prep cook is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Skills:
- Food preparation: Ability to prepare ingredients, measure quantities, and follow recipes accurately
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and prevent cross-contamination
- Food industry: Understanding of the restaurant industry and its standards for quality and service
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations, including kitchen procedures and customer service expectations
- Food safety: Adherence to food safety regulations and best practices to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Cook: Proficiency in cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, baking, etc.
- Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Meal preparation: Ability to assist with meal planning, portioning, and presentation
- Kitchen: Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and organization methods used in food preparation
- Foodservice: Understanding of customer service principles in a food service setting
