Our brand new location located in the Embassy Suites Niagara Falls Fallsview hotel is currently seeking Food Runners and Expeditor staff!

Job Summary

Supports servers and service staff with drink refills, running food, and clearing tables. Assists with the setup of large parties and communicating which areas of the restaurant are ready to be seated in order to assure customer satisfaction.

Job Duties:
Providing 1st class service to restaurants customers
Ensuring every plate is properly arranged and organized
Delivering food to guest quickly and efficiently
Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu
Communicating clearly with the kitchen and front of house staff
Completing assigned opening/closing duties
All other duties assigned by management

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods of time, at least 8 hours, and traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly
Ability read, speak, write, and understand communication in English
Must be able to lift, handle and carry (e.g. trays, small wares and equipment) at a minimum of 50 pounds constantly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend, kneel, stoop, reach and squat on a frequent basis
Must be able to communicate effectively and listen attentively
