Mercato on Main is a fairly new (2019) and modern Italian "one stop shop" bakery carrying imported products, fresh bread, sweets/ coffee, deli, and a variety of staple Italian food served at our hot table with some items made fresh to order in the kitchen (pasta, fried foods, steaks, etc).
We are a small, family-owned business looking for a line cook who is capable of completing:
Line orders
Daily prep
Daily cleaning duties
Sorting grocery orders
Etc. kitchen tasks
This candidate:
Must have prior kitchen experience, minimum of 2 years
Must have their Food Handlers Certificate
Must be able to work as a team
Must be able to listen/ follow instruction
Must be able to communicate with hot table staff
Must be organized
Must be open to working in a family environment (we're all very friendly)
