What You'll need to know

Be knowledgeable regarding allergy policies and procedures to ensure that guests are not at risk of an allergic reaction
Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive in regards to back of the house safety(food safety, potential hazards for employees or guests)

Part-time Offers 25-30 hours

Full - Time 44 hours

_Key Responsibilities_

_Must have experience in cooking meat and fish, understanding temperatures of protein_
_Must have experience in cooking pasta, understanding proper cook of pasta and executing flavourful pasta dishes_
Follow all recipes of Executive Chef. diligently
Execute dishes with accuracy, speed, and detail; emphasis on presentation and garnishing
Must prep (chopping, peeling, cutting) and stock cooking station with all the necessary ingredients and equipment before leaving your shift.
Monitor stock and log shortages
Keep a clean work station, including equipment and utensils; understand and abide by health & safety standards and Food safe requirements

_Key Requirements_

Minimum 3 year experience
Food Handling and Health & Safety Training
Skilled in various cooking methods; grilling, frying, sauteing, chopping, preparing, strong knife skills and workable knowledge of kitchen equipment.
Understanding of standard measurements and portions
Able to follow written and oral instructions
Demonstrate professionalism (communication, mannerisms, dedication, punctuality)
A team player, Excellent in a team environment
Must be able to lift moderate amounts of weight
Stand for long periods of time
Ability to work some weekends

Experience:

Culinary: 3 year (preferred)
Cooking: 3 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
