Backhoe Operator - Utility Projects

CLASS 1 COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION - PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE A CLASS 1 LICENSE

Seeking experienced Backhoe Operator with Class 1 license for utility projects. Must be physically fit for labor-intensive tasks.

Requirements:

5-10 years of Telecom experience preferred
Loader backhoe experience on utility projects required
Experience with underground utility installation desirable
Clean 3-year Class 1 commercial driver's abstract
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Dependable and stable work history

Responsibilities:

Drive tandem dump truck with tag trailer
Operate loader backhoe near buried utilities
Provide labor support for crew as necessary, including traffic control, securing excavations, connecting conduits, loading materials, and cleaning sites/equipment
Job layout, utility investigation, site security, operating equipment, installing materials, back-filling, clean up & landscaping
