The Opportunity:
As a Mini Hoe Operator at Meech Creek Contracting, you'll be at the forefront of some of the most exciting residential projects in the area. From structural demolitions to precision excavations, you'll have the chance to showcase your skills and make a tangible impact on Calgary's growing community.
Essential Job Functions:
Work independently
Excavate and backfill residential projects including foundations and utility trenching, etc.
Read and understand site plans, grade slips and locates
Effectively communicate in English both verbally and written
Conduct equipment and site inspections
Maintain machine in a clean and operable condition
Reliable transportation to get to and from worksites
Competently operate mini excavator and skidsteer
Minimum Requirements:
3 years (1000+ hours) operating experience with a focus in residential operating (backhoe experience an asset)
Residential and Commercial Construction experience preferred
Valid certification in Ground Disturbance Level II and First Aid
Clean driver's abstract
Class 1 Drivers License an asset
Equipment Operator Competency Certificate an asset
Applicants will require own transportation.
