Position: Painter Team Lead

Type: Full-time, Permanent

As a Painter Team Lead , you will oversee painting projects from start to finish, ensuring efficiency, safety, and high-quality results. You will be responsible for guiding your team, problem-solving on-site, and maintaining clear communication with clients and management.

Key Responsibilities:
_Project Leadership_: Plan, manage, and oversee painting projects, ensuring timely completion.
_Team Supervision:_ Lead and mentor painters, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
_Quality Control: _Maintain the highest standards in all painting projects.
_Scheduling & Coordination: _Allocate team duties, set timelines, and ensure proper resource distribution.
_Client Communication: _Provide updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
_Problem Solving: _Identify and address issues proactively to keep projects running smoothly.
_Inventory & Equipment Management:_ Maintain an organized inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.
_Safety Compliance: _Enforce and adhere to all workplace safety protocols.
_Training & Development: S_upport continuous learning and skills advancement within the team.

What We're Looking For:
5+ years of professional painting experience (residential, commercial, or cabinetry)
Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a painting role
Strong communication & organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
Expertise in paint application methods - brushing, rolling, spraying
Experience with drywall repairs and surface preparation (an asset)
Cabinet refinishing & spray-painting experience (an asset)
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation (required)
Safety certifications or additional trade tickets (an asset)
Experience with job site documentation and progress reporting (preferred)
Proficiency in using technology for job tracking and scheduling (preferred)
