ABOUT THIS ROLE
DLCG is seeking a talented Video Editor & Producer with a passion for storytelling and an eye for detail to join our dynamic internal marketing team (Dominion Media Corp. (DMC . In this hybrid role, you'll lead live broadcast production using StreamYard and craft scroll-stopping video content for our social and digital platforms. You'll also capture footage at key national events, bringing energy and professionalism to every frame.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Live Broadcast Production:
Manage and operate StreamYard for live DLCG broadcasts including ICW, The Mortgage Show, State of the Union (SOTU), and other key webinars and meetings.
Ensure smooth transitions, clear audio, and on-brand visuals during live streams.
Video Editing & Post-Production:
Edit long-form content into social-ready segments, teasers, and highlight reels.
Deliver content tailored to platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook.
Content Capture:
Film at live corporate events, campaigns, interviews, educational series and internal shoots, using lighting, audio, and camera gear to capture professional footage.
Ensure footage is clean and reflects our brand tone and quality.
Creative Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing and communications team to brainstorm, storyboard, and execute compelling video concepts aligned with our brand and campaign goals.
Asset Management:
Organize and maintain a content library of raw and final footage for future use and repurposing.
WHAT YOU BRING
Proven experience in video editing and production (please provide portfolio or samples)
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other professional editing tools
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content formatting for each
Comfortable filming in live environments with knowledge of lighting, audio, and camera equipment
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about creating standout content
BONUS POINTS FOR
Motion graphics or animation skills (After Effects, Canva Pro, etc.)
Proficiency with StreamYard
Prior experience working with marketing teams or within a corporate brand environment
Finance or mortgage industry experience
Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset

COMPENSATION
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including extended health and dental coverage.

Primary location: Our head offices in Port Coquitlam, BC or Mississauga, ON
Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Travel is required.
