INTERIOR DESIGN POSITION
We're hiring to fill the position of full time Interior Designer to join our team as our in-house
Design Lead! We're looking for someone who is passionate about design and knowledgeable about all aspects of the interior renovation process.
The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded background with experience in residential interiors, with primary focus on kitchens and bathrooms. The Interior Design Lead will be responsible for assisting with aspects of sales operations and client relations, as well as providing support to the Production Manager. The candidate will assist with various projects that will help generate sales and provide an exceptional experience to all clients.

We've been consistently recognized with Gold status projects, are a member of the Manitoba Home Builders Association, and certified Master Renovator. It's an exciting time in the growth of our company as we're expanding our offices and moving into a new location. We are looking for an innovative Interior Designer to join our team!

Primary responsibilities:
Develop complete Design Concepts for client's projects, including space planning, materials selection, complete Construction Drawing Packages.
Provide Sales Support through initial client meetings and Project Proposal Presentations.
Conduct full Site Measures
Instill confidence and trust by building strong client relationships and maintain current relationships with trade and industry contacts.
Ensure high quality and professional output from the Design Department.
Visit project sites to ensure adherence to Design Concept and Hammerdown standards.
Assist marketing with creation of social media content, organization of project photos, and photoshoot staging.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Post-Secondary Degree in Interior Design or similar, or Post-
Secondary Degree in a creative field + relevant experience in Construction and Design
Industry.
3+ years experience in a drafting program AutoCAD, Revit or similar
Adobe creative suite program knowledge is an asset - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Social media prowess.
3+ years Sales experience in a related industry.
Experience managing clients, creation and presentation of Design Concepts, and communication throughout design and construction process.
PC proficiency, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong organizational and time management skills is a must.

Possess outstanding problem-solving skills; follow through skills and be resourceful and creative.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Team player. Cooperative, easily gains trust and support of peers and encourages collaboration.

Employee is required to have vehicle to access job sites on a regular basis.
Schedule:
Full time in person
Monday - Friday 8:30-5pm, with ability to work occasional weekends for trade shows.

Salary: From $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year including benefits:
