Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate contract Behavioural Consultant to join our MDT Pediatric team! As a Behavioural Consultant, you will play a vital role in providing pediatric services alongside our team to children and their families within Calgary, Cochrane, Airdrie and surrounding area's. Duties:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of client's daily processes, goals, and challenges
- Develop and implement tailored strategies and solutions to address client's needs
- Provide expert advice and recommendations on best practices and industry trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables
- Deliver engaging presentations and reports to clients, showcasing insights and recommendations
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of milestones
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor
- Stay updated on the latest industry developments and continuously enhance your knowledge
Skills:
Be comfortable working independently, as well as within a multidisciplinary team
Show strong time management skills and flexibility within scheduling
Experience working with children of different ages and developmental needs
Available for after school sessions with families and team members
Knowledge of sensory & self-regulation for children with complex mental health needs and challenging behaviours
Special education experience is preferred
Ability to provide patient care with empathy and compassion
Experience working with children is highly desirable
Masters degree in Social Work and currently registered with the Alberta College of Social Workers.
Carry valid Professional Liability Insurance
Experience and knowledge of the FSCD programming is considered an asset.
Prior experience providing interventions to diverse groups of children, youth and emerging adults, with a variety of emotional, behavioural, social and learning needs is considered an asset.

Pay: $87.00-$115.00 per hour
