Call Centre Sales Agent Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer retention - making outbound calls to remind customers when services are due.
Receiving incoming calls from customers to book appointments, answer questions, deal with concerns.
Identifying customer needs and providing product or service information to address those needs.
Demonstrating knowledge of products or services to ensure customers have accurate information.
Utilizing sales techniques such as upselling and cross-selling to increase revenue.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer information in the company's database.
Meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas set by management.
Handling customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner and finding satisfactory solutions.
Collaborating with team members to meet department goals.
Participating in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications and Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a sales role or call center environment is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate product features and benefits.
Strong sales skills, including the ability to upsell services and close sales.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Good computer skills, including the ability to navigate multiple software programs.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn, grow and embrace discomfort (that's when you learn).
