Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Inventory Specialist to join our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing inventory in high-volume environments, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse safety and produce handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately manage and track inventory levels across large-scale warehouse operations
Understand and identify produce types, sizes, and counts for accurate stock records
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for data entry, tracking, and reporting
Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, or inefficiencies
Ensure all inventory-related processes adhere to safety and quality standards
Respond promptly and clearly to internal communications regarding inventory status
Troubleshoot inventory issues and propose effective solutions
Coordinate with receiving and shipping departments to maintain stock accuracy
Maintain organized records for reporting and compliance purposes

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED); additional certification or coursework in logistics or supply chain is a plus
Certified Fork Lift Operator and Power Machine Licence
Proven experience with inventory management in large warehouse settings
Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems (WMS)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to analyze inventory data to support operational decisions
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments
Effective written and verbal communication skills

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
