Boundary Electric is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and budgetary goals. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a manufacturing environment. The position may involve frequent international travel, particularly to Asia. Fluency in Mandarin to support effective communication with overseas partners is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation specific to electrical production and manufacturing projects.

Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, production, and quality assurance, to ensure project success.

Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.

Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status.

Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Manage international project components, including supplier coordination and site visits, with a focus on operations in Asia.

Communicate effectively with overseas partners, vendors, and clients to ensure project alignment and success.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the electrical production and manufacturing industry.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, current enrollment in a PMP program, or other Project Management course work is required.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Willingness and ability to travel internationally on a frequent basis, especially to Asia.

Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an asset.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the electrical production and manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Experience managing international projects or working with overseas suppliers.
