Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Full Time/Part Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Merivale Medical Imaging.

Hours of work:

20-37.5 per week, no on call , 1 weekend day per month

Summary of Duties:

Responsible of shipping and receiving of radiopharmaceuticals
Collecting the appropriate medical information and patient history for the procedure
Responsible for ensuring the proper patient and scan is booked
Preform bone scans and cardiac perfusion imaging per the departments procedures and clinical procedures
Preform and record quality control on equipment per clinic standards, as well as identifying problems with equipment and reporting it to the appropriate personal
Follow the clinics Radiation Safety Manual as well as CNSC regulations for radiation safety

Qualifications/Skills

CMRTO Registration
OAMRS Registration
CPR
ACLS is an asset
French is an asset
Excellent communication skills
Able to work alone or in a team environment
Attention to detail
