We are looking for a driven, outgoing and hardworking Optometric Assistant to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Fallon Vision Group in eye exams, fitting contact lenses, performing general optical tasks and managing inventory. Responsibilities:
Explain testing and medical procedures to patients.
Prepare exam rooms for examinations and conduct physical exams on patients.
Perform preventative care exams on patients.
Explain insurance coverage to patients.
Perform basic laboratory tests such as tonometry, or perform simple procedures, such as fitting contact lenses.
