Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the dental office while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, making it essential for candidates to be well-versed in various aspects of dental assisting.

The ideal RDA should be comfortable with:

Preparing patients for dental examinations and assisting the dentist during examinations and dental treatments
Sterilize and maintain instruments, operatories, and equipment in accordance with IPC protocols.
Prepare dental instruments and operatories for various dental procedures.
Take alginate impressions and fabricate in-house whitening trays
Expose Dental Radiographs
Educate patients concerning oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Comfortable fabricating temporary crowns and applying rubber dams.

Additional qualifications considered as an asset:

Orthodontic Module
Intra-oral scanning (3Shape Trios)
Experience with Implants, Bone Grafting, Full Mouth Reconstruction, and Invisalign procedures.
Discussing comprehensive treatment plans and insurance coverage
Managing appointment scheduling and patient flow, including implant and Invisalign cases.
Perform administration duties such as sending insurance predeterminations, submitting specialist referrals, and receiving specialist letters
Ability to collaborate with team members across all departments: administration, RDHs, RDAs, and Doctors.
Solution-based and personal growth mindset.

Our clinical schedule for this position is as follows:

Tuesday: 8 am-4 pm
Wednesday: 11 am-7 pm
Thursday: 11 am-7 pm
Friday: 8 am-4 pm
Saturday: 8 am-4 pm (no more than two Saturdays per month).
