Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cylinder Repair/Shop Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various repair techniques. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This person will work closely with other team members to provide excellent customer service while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Cylinder repair, rebuild and overhauls

-Mechanical repair and maintenance

-Troubleshooting of all hydraulic and mechanical equipment involving electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic units such as motors and pumps

-Shop help as required

Requirements
- Machining, millwright or mechanical experience an asset
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various types of equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

-Must be able to complete tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision (open work order, order parts etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
