Refrigeration / Maintenance Engineer

Ucluelet Harbour Seafoods, a division of Pacific Seafood a leading seafood producer in British Columbia, is now accepting applications for the Full Time position of Power Engineer / Maintenance Technician for its Plant operations at Ucluelet.

Reporting to the Chief Engineer / Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a progressive team, working rotating shifts on a predetermined schedule and safely operating and maintaining the Refrigeration Equipment in accordance with the Act and Regulations governing Refrigeration Facilities in BC.

The Refrigeration Engineer position requires the individual to be comfortable working with ammonia systems; competent working with technical equipment and able to complete tasks independently.

All eligible candidates will be required to possess a minimum Power Engineer class 4 or Refrigeration Operator "A" / "B" with work-related technical experience.

Salary will be as per current company Pay Scale based on Held Ticket.
Refrig A / B or Class 5: $30.00 / hr.
Class 4: $32.00 / hr.
Class 3 or Higher: $35.00 / hr.
