Forest Ridge began as a family run landscape design, installation, and maintenance company for over 25 years. We have since amalgamated with a nationwide company called Urban Life Solutions. We have divisions spanning from Ontario all the way to Alberta. Our division covers a variety of contracts throughout GTA and surrounding areas, with commercial and residential landscaping projects including hardscaping, softscaping, grading, retaining walls, planting, and sodding. Year-round work available, including winter maintenance operations.

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Urban Life Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various outdoor equipment and vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on outdoor equipment and vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with team members to optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements

3+ years as a mechanic or in a similar role
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license; additional certifications are a plus.
310s or t licence is strongly preferred
Ability to work on-call during the winter months

Job Type: Full-time
